UC Davis did a study on seafood at local markets in Half Moon Bay- 1/4 of fish and 1/3 of shellfish contained plastic debris

Survey of 150 tap water samples from 5 continents found synthetic microfibers in 83% of the total samples collected and in the US 94% of the samples collected were contaminated.
